The Rest of Spring Retreat
I thought I had shared just about all of the photos that I had… but as I was cleaning up my files I stumbled on some more! So here is the final batch of photos from our Spring Retreat Weekend of Fun and Stamping!
We had a "Game Night" one night where everyone was given these darling little bags:

Inside was a deck of cards wrapped in DSP and a bunch of Poker Chips! The Chips all had a given value and we had a ton of games set up where everyone was to bet their chips on winning the games:

And at the end of Game Night, there was a HUGE table of prizes that they could cash in their chips for!

Another fun thing that I did for all of the participants was sneak up to the rooms while they were doing their last stamping class of the night and left them pillow gifts both nights. The first night's Pillow Gift was a Notebook and a Pencil that had "Heartfelt Stamper's" Engraved in it.


The second pillow gift was an invitation to our Sweet Pea Tea the next morning and a "Grow Kit":

Spring Retreat – Paris Nights Dinner Party!
Today I'm going to share with you our Friday Night Dinner Party from Retreat Weekend – a Paris Nights Dinner!!!
One of the reasons we love the location that we hold the retreat at so much is because it has this huge industrial size kitchen so everyone brings a dish to pass for the weekend and we stick it in the oven and don't have to worry about paying for expensive catering! Here are the girls who signed up for Friday Night Dinner getting it ready to be put out!

The tables were decorated..

Each person had a Paris themed favor at their tables – Coconut Macaroons jazzed up with a stamp from "Chic Boutique" — the theme stamp set for the night!

After dinner we had some games, the first one… I used these French Decor Elements from our DD catalog and made up Flash Cards in true Stampin' Up! Style!

I involved Stampin' Up! Staff on this one… I had e-mailed my Service Accounts Manager at Stampin' Up! to be the "right" answers… she named for us a Stampin' Up! Product for each letter on the flash cards, and everyone had to think of the same… if their answer lined up with the Stampin' Up! Staff answer, they got a point! Here is a table deep in concentration…

Kriss was so deep in concentration that she actually light her napkin on fire and had to rush it to the bathroom sink…. we were DYING and I couldn't get to my camera in time, this was the best that I could do…

Then I had a prize table for people who ended with the highest points…

Then another one of the prizes was this cute Chef set…

And a couple of wire decorations that I just had to get because of how they coordinated with the Chic Boutique stamp set!


The next game after this one was a Stampin' Up! Relay Race. We had a table set up at the end filled with Stampin' Up! Products and there were 2 Teams. Each person had to run up and complete a step on the card and the first Team to finish won!

And the winning Team each got a little bundle of "Merci" chocolates from Paris stamped with of course the Chic Boutique Stamp Set…

Phew! What a fun night!!!!! AND…. the night was still very young as this post ends! After the Paris Nights Dinner we had a stamping class that focused on the Summer Mini Catalog, a "Name Badge Runway" and late night Shoebox Swap Stamping!

Welcome to Spring Retreat!
Over the next few days I'm going to share with you all that I've been so busy with and what has prevented me from doing more blogging… our Spring Retreat Weekend!! I won't be sharing the actual projects we made all weekend as that is all just for attendees, but I WILL be sharing with you all of the extras around the event which does include lots of stamping ideas!
So to start off, here are some Welcome photos!!!
Our Retreat Weekends are the kind of event people fly in for – so on Thursday Night I had a crew of girls fly in and stay at my home so that they were here for when we started on Friday afternoon! They ended up getting put to work helping me put the finishing touches on things – here they are preparing everyone's project bags! All of the attendees received these totes with cut material packets for all of their classes for the entire weekend…


Friday morning loading up the cars was a chore and a half!! We couldn't even get everything in mine, Jen had to load her car up with passengers and their luggage! Here's my poor car's cargo…

Then it was off to the lodge! Here's a look at our home for the weekend!

Everyone got settled into their bedrooms, look at the massive lodging we have! The ENTIRE upstairs is bedrooms and bathrooms!

I put a different "Room Sign" on each of the doors using Stampin' Up! Designer Papers…

Then it was off to getting the stamping space set up! Here's a look at the "Bonus Stations" — I had set up these long tables with bonus projects for people to complete during down time in the evenings or in between classes — whenever they had a break!

We also had tons of Display Boards set up for inspiration, I had shared that in yesterday's highlights post… Then as people came in, they each got a Stampin' Up! Product on their back…


Then they were able to ask each person 1 yes or no question to try and guess what product they were! When they found out what product they were, they came for me for a little welcome gift – a Satin Ribbon Sampler!


And that was all just the beginning!! Tomorrow I will be sharing you highlights from our "Paris Nights" Dinner Party which include LOTS of 3-D Stamping Project ideas!!

Exciting Opportunities!
Regional Seminar in Syracuse, NY Opening to Customers!

I want to let everyone know about a FABULOUS opportunity that is coming up!!
Shown to the left is a picture of two Team Members at a past Regional Seminar we attended in Canada – they're busy mounting their FREE Stamp Sets!!!
Stampin' Up! holds Regional Seminars across the United States & Canada at various times. They have NEVER been to New York State before — in 22 years!! For the first time ever, they are coming to Syracuse, NY!!
Regional Seminars open up to Demonstrators first, and usually sell out at this point, but space permitting they open up to customers. Well, tomorrow morning the Regional Seminar will be opening up to customers!! This means that all of YOU will be able to join in on the experience!!
A Regional Seminar is a fun filled day of stamping, stamping and more stamping! There are projects that they prepare for us that we will make and go home with, and then there are tons of presentations showing fabulous techniques and ideas. My jaw is dropped pretty much the whole time!!
The cost of the Regional Seminar is $75 and includes lunch, the "Vintage Vogue" stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog, all of your make and take supplies and a full day of inspiration. It is well worth every penny!
The Regional Seminar is on Friday February 26th from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Registration begins at 8:00 am.
We have a group of 20 of us attending so far, some of us will be going down Thursday Night and staying in a hotel, others will be driving down Friday Morning so there is an opportunity to carpool either way.
We would so love to have you join us!!! If you are interested in attending, let me know right away. Once registration opens up tomorrow morning it will most likely sell out fast being opened up to such a huge group of people.

Spring Retreat Weekend – Opening to Customers!

This year's Leadership Theme was "Share What You Love" — and in spirit of this year's theme, we want to share what WE love (our spring retreat stamping weekend!) with all of YOU, our customers!!
Mark Your Calenders for April 16th – 18th!We've reserved the lodge pictured above on Canandaigua Lake for this weekend! The lodge sleeps 40 people on the upper level and stamps over 100 on the lower level, so there's plenty of room for YOU to join us!
Lodge Rates:
- The Customer cost is $75 for the full weekend Friday – Sunday or $45 just for Saturday.
- Heartfelt Stamper's Team Members receive a special rate. Pre-Pay by January 25th for just $50 for the full weekend, Friday – Sunday or $30 just for Saturday! After January 25th it's $60 for the full weekend Friday – Sunday or $35 just for Saturday. Become a Team Member & Save!
Supply Fee:
The Lodge Rate does not include the cost of the project supplies for the weekend, there is an additional fee for that that will be determined closer to the date when all of the classes are planned out.
General Schedule:
Full schedule details will be released on or around March 1st, but for now here is a general idea so that you can plan accordingly, especially if you need to purchase plane tickets:
- Friday at Noon: Leadership Team will begin setting up for the event
- Friday at 2:00 pm: Doors Open
- Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm: Class #1
- Friday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm: Dinner and Welcome Special Activities, Free Giveaways and More!
- Friday from 7:30 – 10:30 pm: Class #2
- Friday from 10:30 – ???: Shoebox Swapping for Overnight Guests
- Saturday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Class #3
- Saturday from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Lunch/Break
- Saturday from 2:00 – 5:00 pm: Class #4
- Saturday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm: **SPECIAL EVENING EVENT!!!!!**
- Saturday from 7:00 – 10:00 pm: Class #5
- Saturday from 10:00 – ???: Shoebox Swapping for Overnight Guests

- Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 pm: Tear Down and Check Out
WOW! Display Boards:
We're going to try a new element this year called WOW! Display Boards! Everyone who attends will have the opportunity to have their very own Display Board with their name printed on it to display their WOW! Creations!!! To have a WOW! Display Board, you will need to complete the following:
- 1 Scrapbook Page (any size)
- 5 Cards
- 2 3-D Items
You can create more than that (knock yourselves out!!!) but that is the minimum to have your very own Display Board.
All Display Board items must contain only Stampin' Up! Product (with the exclusion of 3-D surfaces, stencil creme or other stencil products needed to use our stencils) and only Stampin' Up! product that is featured in the Main Idea Book & Catalog, the Occasions Mini Catalog or the Summer Mini Catalog.
Everyone who attends the retreat weekend will be voting on their 3 favorite display boards. The 3 winners are in store for some fabulous free product!!!!
I'm announcing this now so that you have lots of time to prepare!!!!
If you are going to participate, I'll need to know ahead of time so that I can prepare a board for you.
Be sure to bring your cameras!! You'll want to take lots of pictures!!!
