Get Punchy with It! In MDS fashion…
Hi Ladies! Today's theme was to "Get Punchy with It!" We're using as many punches as possible in today's projects : )
I'm still working on knocking out Congratulations Cards for my Team, so I created a Digi Punch Art Card this week. Here it is!

I used punches for pretty much the whole thing! The posies were created by layering a circle punch at different sizes. The stem is a square punch thinned out and stretched and the leaf is a part of the Stocking Builder Punch.
I love using punches to create the perfect image I want!
Hop on over and see what other punch creations the other girls came up with!
MDS Friday!

Happy Friday!!!
I've been in over my head tying up every loose end possible as we get ready to leave for Stampin' Up!'s DISNEY WORLD Incentive Trip!!!! And before I was tying up loose ends, I was beyond busy getting ready for Landon's Mickey Birthday Party.
So, I didn't have a spare second to get to the fabulous sketch challenge today. But I don't want to leave you hanging, so here are a couple of pictures from Landon's Mickey Party that were all done in MDS!
Cupcake Toppers:

Water Bottle Wrappers:

There's a LOT more, but there's just a little preview! I'm actually going to be Guest Blogging the Party on the Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio site in a couple weeks!
And here are the Mouseketeers:

Now for me to go finish tying up all of the loose work ends so I can start packing up for a week of enchantment! We're so excited!

A Fun Color Combo!

Happy Friday!!!
Today's Blog Hop Challenge was a Color Combo Challenge! We were to use: Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz, Melon Mambo, Basic Grey and Whisper White.
I have to admit…. I struggled with this one! I LOVED the colors together, but with a family of mostly boys, my girly colored photos are few and far between. Then I found these pictures and was so thankful my niece had worn bright pink at Christmas…! It worked perfect! I had always loved the Melon Mambo in the "FROSTY DAY II" Digital Paper — so was happy to be able to put it to use.
Here's what I came up with!

Catching Up on Scrapbooking!
Hi Everyone!
Well, since my last blog post where I was "coming down with something"….. I've gotten pneumonia and have been down and OUT. I'm on the upswing, except still can't do much but lay on the couch. It's royally obnoxious and I'm going stir crazy…. with the exception of catching up on some Scrapbooking in MDS!
Here is one of the spreads I've done in my couch potato state. I had a lot of fun with this one… it uses a lot of elements from one of the new downloads – "Epic Overlays".

MDS Blog Hop… Sale-A-Bration CDs!

It's time for another Friday of My Digital Studio Blog Hopping!! Today's theme is "Sale-A-Bration CDs"!!!! There are TWO Digital Content CDs that you can take for FREE with ordering $50 worth of product (spend $100 and you don't have to choose, you get can get BOTH!) This is a GREAT time for you to stock up on your favorite downloads, and get more downloads for free at the same time!
One of the Sale-A-Bration CDs is all of the Sale-A-Bration Exclusive Content in Digital Form (the 4 stamp sets, designer paper, ribbon and brads). The other CD is an exclusive "celebration" CD with designer paper, templates and embellishments.
The project that I'm going to share with you today is a card that I made using BOTH of these CDs so you can see how they cross over nicely!

The DSP and the flower embellishments are from the Celebrate CD, and then the "You did it!" and flower images below that are part of the Sale-A-Bration Content CD! I also used the Cheap Talk Stamp Set (comes pre-loaded on MDS), Glimmer Brads and Lucky Limeade Ruffle Ribbon (additional downloads available for purchase).
To color the wing of the bird a different color, I created and re-sized a punch that would cover it, then moved it behind the bird so it "fit".
This card is a sneak peek some of my girls might not want to see….. I just ordered a bunch of them for March Team Recognition!! I plan to jazz them up with a little somethin' somethin' when they come in… probably glitter!
Now head on over and check out the rest of the blog hop!
MDS Blog Hop: Get Organized/Anything Goes!

Happy Friday!!! It's MDS Blog Hop Day… Yippee!!!! Today's theme was Get Organized/Anything goes! So I thought I would just share a layout I did while I was away on the Founder's Trip last week, since I haven't had time to scrapbook anything since!
This is a Halloween Layout for my 2009 album:

(In addition to the My Digital Studio software and content that comes with it, I also used the following downloads: My Sweet Pea DSP, Spooky Treats Kit, Tasteful Trim Punch, Smitten Alphabet Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Neutrals Buttons, Brights Buttons, Baker's Twine Add On and Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Brush Set)

Some Journaling Fun!
I didn't want to do another black and white layout because I had just done a couple…. but really needed the color taken out of these photos becaues they totally clashed and weren't going to scrapbook together nicely! Everyone has these photos…. the stash of "randoms" that don't really go with an event…. So I put all of these in Sepia tone instead of Black and White (technically not the same!). I had a TON of fun with the journaling on this one – this was a new attempt for me with going directly on the photos! You wouldn't want to overdo this one – but in moderation I think it's super neat!

(In addition to the My Digital Studio software and content that comes with it, I also used the following downloads: Nursery DSP, Tickets & Tokens Borders, The Write Stuff Elements and Funky Four Stamp Brush Set)
