Happy MDS Blog Hop Day! Today is the day of the month where we show you what we've been working on…. between Easter, my son's 5th Birthday Party and getting ready to leave for the Stampin' Up! Cruise… I've had NO time for designing!!! I'm sorry to say that I don't really have anything to share with you today… but instead of leaving you competley hanging – here is a little graphic I'm using for the Skylander Party we're planning. I did make it in MDS but it doesn't use any MDS Digital Content — LOL! It's just a sample of how you can copy and paste and edit internet photos within MDS to give you good customization.
MDS is my "go to" editor. It's so much more user friendly than Adobe Photoshop — AND — I LOVE the "custom color" tool for covering up graphics you don't want to create your own overlays. That's the function I really utilized to get to the end result here. The whole theme of the party is Skylanders, and the kids are going to be completing a game for each "element." They'll wear these passports to keep track of each element they unlock (I'll print them off and hang them on string). As they complete the game for the element to unlock it, I'll punch the element on the side with a hole punch. This was NOT an original idea, I found it on a party blog – but the passports were unavailable to order so I had to re-create the concept!
I'm sorry that's not overly exciting – but hopefully gives you an idea of how you can use MDS as a photo editing tool to get custom graphics in a pinch!
Time to head on over and see what project Amber has created today!
