Glass Decor Ornaments
A couple of days ago I shared with you the mitten/scarf/hat set that I made for the Gift Exchange for my Team Christmas Party. Today I'm going to share with you the Glass Ornaments that I made as a gift for everyone who attended! I'm also going to try to get them to my long distance 1st level downline that couldn't attend — just not to sure how to ship glass!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- I created the snowflakes using Raw Decor Element Sheets. These sheets are come in a roll, you get two 12" x 24" sheets of Vinyl and two 12" x 24" sheets of transfer tape. The sheets come in Kraft, Chocolate, White and Dark Gray.
- These sheets were designed for use with the Big Shot, but I found a way to make then work with punches! At first it didn't seem possible because the punch wasn't cutting through the layers — but then I flipped the Decor Sheet over so that I was looking at the Grid Side instead of the Vinyl side and voila! It worked!!!!! It's funny that it matters what side you're looking at, but it does. The punch that I used is the Snowflake Punch.
- The inside of the ornaments are stuffed with basket paper stuffing – an easy way to add a splash of color!
- For each button attachment, use a Mini Glue Dot.
WHAT TO ORDER:
Chocolate Decor Element Sheets (114337), Fresh Favorites II Buttons (107422), Jumbo Snowflake Punch (116628), White Gel Pen (105021), Mini Glue Dot (103683) and Mistletoe Ribbon Orignals (116792)

Razzleberry vs. Red
What a difference a color can make! When I started this card, I had the typical Christmas colors in hand – at least, MY typical Christmas colors, Real Red and Old Olive. I loved using this Little Leaf die as the branch for the birdie, but when I was done, something just didn't sit quite right with me. So, I re-did the card, this time using Rich Razzleberry instead of Real Red. Then I was satisfied! It's amazing to me what a difference one color can make in a card design.
Although, some of you may prefer the Real Red! We all have different preferences and tastes. Which version is your favorite, Razzleberry or Red? Leave me a comment and let me know!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Backing these jumbo brads with a 1" circle of cardstock gives some added intrest. I set the brads through that circle punch out, and then mounted the cardstock/brad unit on the card with a Stampin' Dimensional.
- "Little Leaves" is a Stampin' Up! Exclusive Sizzlit Die. It's probably one of my favorite little dies, it makes such wonderful accents with almost any stamp set! Here, I substituted it where the stamped version of the branch would have normally gone.
- "Sprigs" of cording tied in your ribbon is a wonderful way to add some metallic vibes to any card.
