MDS takes on Snow Festival!
Happy Friday!
It's MDS Blog Hop Day and lemmie tell you I'm ON A MISSION for the rest of the month! I have GOT to get our 2009 album done while professional printing is 31% off…. My goal was to finish this album when professional printing was on sale back in May of 2010…. Whoops! It's taken me a tad longer…. but now this deadline really isn't negotiable in my opinion!
It's going to be a 100 page book and I have 27 pages left to do…. so I'm 3/4 of the way there… I better pick up some serious speed or it'll be another 6 months!
Anyways — I'm going to be tacking EVERY blog challenge for the rest of the month with this album… and I'm hoping to actually post a couple layouts on some Fridays…
Today's challenge was to use new Holiday Mini products or a layout from the Holiday Mini. I decided to be an overachiever and do both : ). I used the Snow Festival DSP Digital Download (yes! this fab DSP is available by itself!) and then I used the layout on page 9 as inspiration. Here are my pages!
I just love this Snow Festival line with kids winter sweaters — it makes the perfect pages! I rarely use white backgrounds on my pages — but there was so much going on with prints that I decided to keep the background nice and plain.
