Inspiration on my DBWS!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• The Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die is used in a unique way in this project – as a card holder! I love how this project shows the versatility of this die and how it's not just for weddings or other events when a favor is needed.
• This whole set was created with the "Christmas Jingle" Simply Scrappin' Kit, the same kit that you may remember from my Scrapbooking Christmas Memories Kit. Whenever you're in need for quick and easy gifts and projects, these Simply Scrappin' Kits are the perfect way to save time, money and effort!
• All of the cards shown here are 6" x 3" cards, which are the perfect sized card to create when using these kits as the kits come with 12" x 12" cardstock, and by creating this size card you get 4 cards to a sheet of paper without any waste! Ornament Gift Box

Back in this post I showed you the ornaments that I had made for my downline at our Team Christmas Party. Today I thought I would share the Gift Box that I created to wrap them in!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• This box is beyond simple to make – just roll the Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die through the Big Shot and it's all cut out and scored! All you have to do is pop it together and add a dab of adhesive. The perfect simplicity for mass quanitites!
• When selecting paper or cardstock for this die, you want to use either cardstock or Specialty Paper that is a little bit heavier than regular Designer Paper. Regular Designer Paper will work, but it won't be as durable and won't keep it shape as well.
• The window was created by punching a 1 3/4" Circle Punch into the front of the box and setting a piece if Thick Window Sheet behind it – it creates a sturdy, almost plexi-glass like opening!
• Be sure to use Sticky Strip to keep the box together – you don't want your hard work to fall apart when you add some weight in it!
