Here's a look at just one of the layouts we will create that evening (these pages are designed to go side-by-side so the second page doesn't have a title). I've also left room for journaling on the first layout, but haven't added it in yet. Just as an aside, scrapbook photos are very difficult to photograph. I did the best I could, but the photos just doesn't do these layouts justice! If you would like to see them in person before you sign up for the class, stop on by my studio at any time and I would be happy to show them to you!:

Valentine for a Friend!
I was playing around before I left for Leadership Conference and this was one of the cards I ended up with! I was wanting to use this fabulous new Designer Paper, and pull in the glittery element of it.
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS: 
- I just can't stop this punch technique!! I just love it. Here, I punched out lots of red textured 5 petal flowers and adhered them to the regular red cardstock. It creates the most darling tone on tone look!
- Don't be afraid to combine all sorts of products, even if they weren't designed to coordinate! Here, I wanted to use this flower designer paper. I then paired it with the Trio Flower punch that took on the same shape and the shopping back because it's tag had the same flower shape.
- Hodgepodge Hardware doesn't always have to be anchored with a coordinating brad! Here, I used an Epoxy Brad on one side and ribbon on the other.

Love Squares
I'm loving playing with some of the new goodies from the Occasions Mini Catalog!!! This one uses the "Sending Love Specialty" paper that is just delicious – each side shines with glittery designs!!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS: 
- I wasn't loving the "blunt" edges this card had, so I used the Corner Rounder to round the edges of the card, and then the point of each tile nearest each edge — this simple step created a whole new look to the card.
- Don't be afraid to combine accessories! One of the things I found most fun with this card was pulling accessories from all over the place. I started with the new Epoxy Brads that coordinate with this paper, and then branched out to Hodgepodge Hardware and Buttons for some mix and matching.

I'm going to be leaving for SUNNY weather (can't you tell I'm excited to escape the snow!?) tomorrow morning — off to Phenoix, Arizona for Stampin' Up!'s Annual Leadership Conference!!! Valentine Clear Pouch
I have something to share with you today! Not because I had time to stamp for fun last night, but because I decided to do a different 3-D for the Valentine Class instead of this one. This is an adorable little project so I had to share anyway, but over time the Sticky Strip just isn't holding the pouch together. Not a problem if the recipient eats the candies right away! But I still didn't want to teach it in a class and cause frustration.
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- I used a Thick Window Sheet to create this pouch – it goes right through the Big Shot with ease, yet another surface that heavy duty machine can cut!
- Sticky Strip, Sticky Strip, Sticky Strip — no other adhesive has a chance at working!
- Tying the Basic Grey Satin Ribbon around the pouch snuggly holds the side flaps down and where you want them to stay.
- I punched out the heart with the Full Heart Punch and jazzed it up with some images.
- The heart in the center of the "i love you" is one of our brand spankin' new epoxy brads from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog!
