Celebration with Lots of Texture!
I had so much fun creating this card for all of my Top Ten Sales Achievers this month! It has oodles of texture adding to the interest of the card.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Spice up your backgrounds by selecting Textured Cardstock instead of solid, as the So Saffron cardstock layer is here! Add another element of interest by embossing the stars with White Embossing Powder.
- These "gathered" paper pieces are very easy to do – simply take a 3/4" x 12" piece of Designer Paper, put a full strip of adhesive down the paper, secure it to the cardstock at the top, and then just fold the paper randomly as you're attaching it to the cardstock.
- Jazz up any card by stamping a coordinating image on a piece of cardstock, punching it with a 1" Circle Punch, and popping it behind one of our Clear Buttons!

Sorrow Bird
A couple of weeks ago I shared with you the Motif Prayers that we made at our November Card Ministry Night. It's time to share the other card that we made that evening! We were most in need of Get Well and Sympathy Cards, so that's where our focus was.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Can't decide which color of ribbon to use? Use both! Instead of cutting one color the length you want it to be, cut two pieces of ribbon each half the length that you need them. Tack each ribbon behind the cardstock with SNAIL Adhesive – and then tie them together — two toned ribbon!
- To help your sentiment "pop" try embossing your words as shown here.
- This stamp set "Bird on a Branch" is a 2-Step Stamp Set – use each image in it's own color, layering them together to get a multi-toned focal point.
- Don't have thread to tie through your button hole? No need! Simple cut away the "piping" edge of ribbon and you have your very own piece of makeshift thread that will fit easily through your button holes! Here's a picture to illustrate what I'm describing:

WHAT TO ORDER:
Bird on a Branch stamp Set (113266), Close As a Memory Stamp Set (114946), Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper (116769), Chocolate Chip Cardstock (102128), Chocolate Chip Classic Ink (100908), Basic Black Cardstock (102851), Basic Black Classic Ink (101179), Taken with Teal Classic Ink (103257), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), 1/2" Circle Punch (104390), 3/4" Circle Punch (107217), Playground Buttons (116313), Basic Black 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (115605), Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (109051), VersaMark Inkpad (102283), Black Embossing Powder (109133) and Heat Tool (100005)

Puttin’ on the GLITZ!
I made this card a little over week ago when mostly all of my inkpads were packed away and ready to go for our big Christmas Bonanza Event (yes, pictures are still coming soon!). I wanted to make a card, but had not much in the way of ink to work with! So I busted out my Sticky Pages and Glitter – the inkless way to make a card and this is what I came up with:

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Colored Glitter can me messy business – be sure to invest in our Powder Pal set for easy clean up! Work over the tray and use the Static Free Brush to help you usher your leftover glitter back into it's home.
- Make your sentiments pop with Embossing Powders! Here, I used Silver EP.
- Don't be afraid to combine embellishments. For the center of the flower, I used Flower Fusions, a Pretties Kit, Filigree Brads and a Rhinestone Brad. They all came in separate kits, but still complemented one another well!
- The Sticky Cuts come in such a way that you have the option of pulling layers apart to have more images, or using them together and peeling away the top protective sheet one by one for multicolored images.
Here's a look at what comes in this Sticky Cut Sweet set:

One of the nice things about shopping through my online store, is that when you select a product that you're intersted in, you get a nice little list of additional products that pair nicely with the product your intersted in. Here's a look at the suggestions that came up when I selected the Sticky Cut Sweets shown above:

Dear Dad Birthday
I helped Landon (ok… helped him a LOT) make this card for his Daddy for his Birthday last week. I've been just sitting on this "All in the Family" stamp set waiting for a chance to use it… the day has come! I've also been hanging onto this fabulous "To the Nines" DSP knowing that it would be great for a "Man Card" but not having the need for one until now. This wide Twill Tape has been another thing collecting dust… this card really put to use some things!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Invest in Watercolor Paper. It's worth every penny and will help you achieve the professional water colored look you're striving for! It does a lot of the work for you just with how the paper is formulated.
- When you're water coloring, be sure to leave some spots completely "white" with no ink on it. Also work in layers, allowing coats to dry in between and building on the darker shading areas slowly.
- Be sure to stamp your lined art in a waterproof ink like any of our "Basics" or StazOn. So for example when I wanted brown here, I used Basic Brown. If I had used Chocolate Chip or Soft Suede, it would have caused bleeding.
- Embossing Powder = A Crisp Look. Whenever you want your words to "pop" like happy birthday does here – whip out your Heat Tool and Embossing Powders! Especially when you want your words to be white on a darker shade of cardstock.
WHAT TO ORDER:
All in the Family Stamp Set (113488), Family Phrases Stamp Set (114960), Holiday Blitz Stamp Set (114982), In Color 12×12 Textured Cardstock Assortment (115538), Blush Blossom Classic Ink (102609), Always Artichoke Classic Ink (105219), More Mustard Classic Ink (103162), Bashful Blue Classic Ink (105209), Sage Shadow Classic Ink (102532), Soft Suede Classic Ink (115657), Basic Brown Classic Ink (104315), Watercolor Paper (105019), To the Nines Specialty Paper (114038), Twill Tape (105245), Essentials On Board Chipboard (112085), White Embossing Powder (109132), VersaMark Ink (102283), Aqua Painters (103954) and Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

Beer Birthday for Brad
Brad's Birthday was October 28th, so I set out to make him a special birthday card a couple of weeks ago! It's always challenging for me to create masculine cards, so I had to do some tinkering to come up with something. Here's what the end result was:
.jpg)
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- The "Day and Night" Specialty Paper has done it again! Yet another card created with this fabulous Halloween paper that's not a Halloween card – talk about versatility! I started with the white and black newsprint paper, and then used a brayer and combination of Dusty Durango and More Mustard Classic Inks to change the coloring of the white background.
- Crystal Effects gives the perfect extra accent to the foam on the top of the mug.
- The "Totally Tabs" stamp set lines up perfectly with the Round Tab Punch. But this particular image also worked great with the circle punch! The next time you're at a workshop or class with me, ask to see my "punch sampler" – it will help you discover all of the possibilities of punch/stamp set coordination!
- The Jumbo Grommets are easy peasy to set – just punch out a 1/2" Circle Punch, press the grommet through the hole, and bend back the prongs with a Bone Folder! So simple, such a great accent!
- The White Gel Pen… such a handy little tool! Used here to make the "O" POP!
WHAT TO ORDER:
Cheers to You Stamp Set (114944), Wonderful Favorites Stamp Set (115114), On Your Birthday Stamp Set (111664), Totally Tabs Stamp Set (113520), Night & Day Specialty Paper (116768), Basic Black Classic Ink (101179), Basic Black Cardstock (102851), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Dusty Durango Classic Ink (115654), Dusty Durango Cardstock (115321), More Mustard Classic Ink (103162), More Mustard Cardstock (100946), Mini Library Clips (109857), Vintage Brads (109109), Basic Jumbo Grommets (114348), Basic Black 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (115615), Linen Thread (104199), 1/2" Circle Punch (104390), 1 3/4" Circle Punch (112004), Round Tab Punch (108340), 1 3/8" Circle Punch (104401), 1/16" Circle Handheld Punch (101227), Bone Folder (102300), Black Embossing Powder (109133), Heat Tool (100005), White Gel Pen (105021), VersaMark Pad (102283), Mat Pack (105826), Paper Piercing Tool (116631), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Crystal Effects (101055), Aqua Painter (103954)

Stamp Out Breast Cancer Day #6!

"I learned that for some of us, our recovery will involve being helped by others, and for some it will involve helping others. Some won't want anybody to know, while others will show and describe all that we have been through. And no matter what, it is all okay. It's okay to be afraid, to cry, to yell, to laugh; it's all okay. It's been two years and I have never felt so blessed, loved, and believe it or not, lucky. It has taught me that it can always be worse and that there is always a blessing to be counted. I have found that there is a sisterhood out there and I am part of it. I am a part of this strong and wonderful group of women that I can count on and they can count on me too. I am so honored to be a part of this. I am blessed.

"Your" story can be your own personal story or a story of someone you know or once knew. Here's a look at the free stamp:

Here's a look at today's Card of Hope:

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- How is this card so wonderfully shimmery? With Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, that's how! This fabulous must have is basically clear EP mixed with glitter. Use it like any other EP — stamp your image in VersaMark, sprinkle on the powder, and heat with a Heat Tool! Using this medium even allows the glitter to be more mess free, sticking in with the EP much more than if you used glue.
- To add Iridescent Ice EP to the butterfly and torn cardstock edge — simply use your VersaMark Inkpad as it's own stamp, directly pressing the pad to cardstock!
- A simple white border around the edge of the card allows the images to all pop a little more, with a color scheme like this, you need the white to brighten things up!
WHAT TO ORDER:
