Fun Fabric Pin!
I thought I would share with you my SWAP for our Team Fabric Play Day! I made each of the girls these fabric pins since fabric was the theme of the day:

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- All of the fabric was cut with the Big Shot and the big Clear Circle Die. There are 3 different fabrics, a base of neutral tapestry, the main fabric that's an oriental satin and then a top layer of netting.
- I jazzed up the edges of the oriental satin fabrics by adding some Chunky Glitter to the edges!! Crystal Effects was the adhesive of choice.
- I made my own button out of Stampin' Up! Products – I started with a Star Designer Brad and clipped off one of the brad "legs" with wire cutters. Then using plyers, I looped the other leg to create a button backing. Then I covered the star center with a large halfback pearl that was attached with a Mini Glue Dot!
WHAT TO ORDER:
Big Shot Die Cut Machine (113439), Clear Circle Die (114533), Crystal Effects (101055), Mini Glue Dot (103683), Chunky Essentials Glitter (108797), Pretties Kit (109114) and Star Designer Brads (112572)

Big Shot Book!
I got an exciting phone call yesterday! Shannon West over at the Stampin' Up! Home Office gave me a call and asked if I would be a Workshop Wow! Presenter at the Syracuse Regional Seminar! I'm so excited, and quite nervous to be honest! Another thing to add to my list for the next 2 weeks — busy, busy, busy!! But all fun!!
Today I'm going to share with you a Big Shot Book I asked one of my downline to help me put together when she was over at my house a couple of weeks ago. Jill Olsen shared this idea at Leadership Conference and I really loved it! The idea is to just put together a 6×6 book just in page protectors of the Big Shot Shapes, since the catalog doesn't show them true to size. If you're a Demonstrator, this is a great business tool! If you're not a Demonstrator, this is something great to have on hand for your own reference – you can get together with some friends and die cut the shapes you don't have to fill the book!

WHAT TO ORDER:
Basic Black 12×12 Cardstock (106532), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Old Olive Cardstock (100702), Melon Mambo Patterns DSP (115687), Old Olive Patterns DSP (112160), Clear Rhinestone Brads (113144), Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon (115611), 3/4" Circle Punch (107217), Boho Blossoms Punch (110711), Big Shot Die Cut Machine (113439), Stampin' Up! Alphabet Simple Letters (115960), Flower Layers #3 (114527), All Big Shot Dies for reference, Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch (117191) and Eggcellent Eggs Kit (117179)

You mean EVERYTHING to me.
A couple of months ago at our Team Christmas Party we did a Valentine SWAP to have some ideas on hand for the upcoming holiday. Well, I set this gem aside to share with you all closer to the date – and here it is!

Team Member Jen Rios Raner made this card – and I just adore it! The card is even more fitting for her, because her husband's name is Eric — so the "E" on the top can stand for Eric in her case — or the word "Everything" in red for the rest of us! Very clever
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Sick of just tying your ribbon in a knot around a cardstock layer? Try this fun little trick that Jen did here with using one ribbon piece around another for a knotless use of ribbon – love it!
- The texture plates are a wonderful way to add some extra "umph" to a card – check out the diamonds in the background of the red cardstock here.
- Bring out your Stampin' Write Markers when you want to draw extra attention to a word! Just ink up the word you want to draw attention to in another color, as done here with the word "everything."
WHAT TO ORDER:
Always Stamp Set (113620), Lovely Letters Alphabet Stamp Set (115030), Basic Black Cardstock (106523), Real Red Cardstock (102482), So Saffron Cardstock (105118), Real Red Stampin' Write Marker (100052), Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (100082), Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware (112454), Basic Black 1-1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (115615), Heart to Heart Punch (113694), 1-3/8" Circle Punch (104401), 1-1/4" Circle Punch (104403), Scallop Edge Punch (112091), Heat Tool (100005), Basic Black Embossing Powder (109133), VersaMark Pad (102283), Mat Pack (105826), Paper Piercer (116631), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Glass Mat (112531), Circle Scissor Plus (112530), Dotto (103305), Big Shot Die Cut Machine (113439) and Stampin' Up! Backgrounds Texturz Plates (114512)

Daisy Thoughts
This card is all about what you can get FREE During Sale-A-Bration!!! It features THREE different Sale-A-Bration exclusives!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- I am HOOKED on the Color Spritzer Tool! Seriously, I can't stop! Just about every card I've made in the past 2 days had to be spritzed with Chocolate Chip marker – the end result is just too cool!
- These darling flower shapes come from one of my favorite new dies, a Stampin' Up! Exclusive, "Blossom Party". They're so much fun to work with, especially with these Neutral Brads!
- One can never have enough circles. My personal opinion. I used most of the circle punches here, and even the Circle Die. To create tiny trim circles, start with your smallest circle, I used the 1-1/4", and then line up the next size up around that, I used the 1-3/8" — it's MUCH easier to be working that direction than trying to punch a smaller circle into a punch out you've already made.
I showed you a close up of the Scallop Trim Border Punch in yesterday's post here, so I won't repeat any of that. But I will show you a close up of two of the Sale-A-Bration exclusive Stamp Sets that I used on this card — earn one free with a $50 order!! Earn them both free with a $100 order! Better yet, spend $150 and get the punch for free, too!
Here are all of the images in the Whimsical Words Sale-A-Bration Exclusive Set:

Team Fabric Play Day!
On Saturday we had a Team Fabric Play Day! The girls that attended brought their sewing machines, and I supplied all different fun fabrics and big shot dies, and we just had a ball playing around with different combinations and learning how to sew in Stampin' Up! Style! Or for some of us… sew period!! We ended up with quilt squares and flower bag tags – so much fun! If you want to be included on these very special events, won't you consider joining our team? Most of us are based in New York State, but often times, our long distance members travel to join us. With the Sale-A-Bration special, it's a perfect time to take 15% off your starter kit and receive a free stamp set!
Jen had never sewn before, but she did great!

Patty and Jacki with their completed quilted flower bag tags – made with the Flower Folds Die!

Kriss was our expert quilter and taught us lots!

Amy, one of our newest Team Members, joined us for her very first Team Event! We were so happy to have her here. This was the square she did – didn't she do a beautiful job!?

I had received that square pattern for Free as Leadership Conference, so decided to play a little bit and did this square using the oval die from the Scallop Oval Frame, and the Scallop Circles in the middle:

Christine working on her square – love the purples!

You can check out even more pictures from our Team Fabric Play Day on my Facebok Fan Page – Aly Stamps!! Just click the Facebook Icon under "Socialize with Me" over in the right hand column for a direct link.

Use the Holiday Mini for Valentine’s: Part 2
Time to share with you the other Valentine Idea I had using Holiday Mini products! I've been asked to lead a group of women at our church in making 2 projects to send in College Student's Valentine's Boxes, so that's what these ideas have been created for.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Stampin' Write Markers work perfectly when you have an image such as this one that calls for multiple colors on one stamp. Just ink up the rubber with the brushed end of the marker and you're good to go!
- I used to always mat my main image cardstock pieces by cutting an extra 1/4" to my cardstock, creating a 1/8" mat on each side. Lately, I've been cutting an extra 1/8", creating a 1/16" mat on each side for a more subtle look, as shown here.
- I just adore being able to cut chipboard from the Big Shot! Here, I used the Hearts & Brackets die.
- The Designer Paper that you see on the left hand side of the card is a fabulous flocked paper – a first for Stampin' Up! I just love having an additional element of interest, and one that I don't have to work to create!
WHAT TO ORDER:
Wandering Words Stamp Set (116507), Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper (116770), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Basic Black Cardstock (102851), Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (100082), Old Olive Stampin' Write Marker (100079), Real Red Stampin' Write Marker (100052), Kraft 12×12 Cardstock (107070), Vintage Brads (109109), Black Gingham Ribbon (104832), Long Board (114320), Corner Rounder (109047), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Big Shot Die Cut Machine (113439) and Hearts & Brackets Originals Die (115955)
