The Regional that Wasn’t SWAPS
I'm now referring to the Syracuse Regional as "The Regional that Wasn't" – lol! Because I find I'm always wanting to share things from "The Regional" – but there wasn't actually a Regional! So these SWAPS are from the "Regional that Wasn't"!! A bunch of ladies that were attending and already had their SWAPS done mailed them so that we could still exchange some ideas. I still have about 40 SWAPS un-swapped… I think I'll have to sign up for an online SWAP somewhere!
Created by Kristen Koskie: Kristen used one of my favorite stamp sets in the Occasions Mini Catalog, Vintage Vogue! I love the simplicity of this card and what she's done to distress the Scallop Circle Punch and make it into a floral accent.

Created by Debbie Sowards: This stamp set "Simply Said", is an oldie but a goodie! It's been around the block for a while, but it never gets old to me. Every time I see a card done with it, I just say "Oh how I love that stamp set!" I just love Debbie's color selection of Sage Shadow, Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip.

Created by Michelle Fairbrother: The top of this card that the flower is on is actually a flap that opens up and you can stick a gift card or note inside! Very cute. I also love how she created the flower itself by distressing circle layers – it looks like she did the same thing as Kristen did on the first card I showed and misted water on the cardstock to crinkle it up better. Her use of the Scallop Corner Punch is also very cleaver!

Get Well Bandaid
I made this fun card for my aunt who is recovering from surgery. I received this stamp set free at Convention for one of my Annual Achivement Awards, and had yet to use it! Decided it was time to whip it out — it's a fun one!
This card is also a huge milestone for me… this is the FIRST card I think I've ever done without Stampin' Dimensionals on it!!!!!! I honestly can't believe it myself… as I sit here typing out the Supply List I'm still thinking there must be a mistake…!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- The "bandaid" look was replicated as a cardstock layer by running Creamy Caramel Cardstock through the Big Shot with a Polka Dot Texture Plate! TIP: To get a deeper impression with your texture plate, try spritzing your cardstock with a little water on the BACK side of the cardstock. If you do it on the front you'll get water spots on your cardstock. The extra moisture helps to mold the cardstock as it goes through your machine!
- Buttons always have two sides! I needed a small vanilla button and the only one I had (or so I thought!) had a flower on it. I just flipped it over and voila! A brand new button.
- Tying some Linen Thread through your button holes is the perfect way to finish it off. The adhesive of choice for buttons? Mini Glue Dots, hands down!
- Tying one ribbon type around another is a great way to add some added interest.
WHAT TO ORDER:
Wellness Wishes Stamp Set (115356), Neutrals Textured Cardstock (108589), Whisper White Cardstock (100730), Basic Black Classic Ink (101179), Creamy Caramel Cardstock (102514), Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Marker (100078), Real Red Classic Ink (103133), Real Red Cardstock (102482), Button Latte (114333), Real Red 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon (109052), Basic Black 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon (109027), Linen Thread (104199), 1/2" Circle Punch (104390), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439), Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates (114512), Polka Dot Background Stamp – On Dormant List (109276).

Fall Frolic Day #3
.jpg)
Welcome to Day #3 of the Fall Frolic Event! Today I’m going to share with you another Halloween Project that is a 2-in-1! These adorable little glass bottles serve as both a Favor and a Place Setting Card – how cool is that!? I saw these little bottles in a 24-pack at my local craft store probably about two years ago and just had to have them. They were in the Wedding Department, but I knew that some day I would find an alternative use for them. That day is here!

These little bottles are all about RubOns! I didn’t use any stamped images, just the "Spooky Treats" RubOn Assortment:

ALY’S HELPFUL HINTS:
- The beauty of this RubOn Set is that it coordinates perfectly with the Modern Label and Designer Label Punches!
- To create some extra elements of interest, both black and white RubOns where used on both bottles, 2 RubOns per bottle.
- Take your bottles to new heights using a comination of Stampin’ Dimensionals and Pop Up Glue Dots!
- While Stampin’ Dimensionals work wonders for cardstock to cardstock mounts, Pop Up Glue Dots are just the thing you need when adhering cardstock to another surface type, like the glass here!
- Here’s a HOT TIP for you! If you’re Pop Up Glue Dots just aren’t gooie enough, attach it to the desired surface and let it spend a few seconds under the Heat Tool – voila! You have hot glue gun guts on the fly!
- This fabulous place card pattern comes from the NEW Table Setting Day in the Holiday MIni Catalog – they are tent cards and they will stand up on their own, I simply choose to attach them to these bottles by creating a slit in the top of the cork.
WHAT WAS USED:
Spooky Treats RubOns (115729), Stampin’ Up! Table Setting Bigz XL Die (116819), Big Shot (113439), Modern Label Punch (116630), Designer Label Punch (107590), Silver Brads (104336), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Pop-Up Glue Dots (104183), Only Orange Cardstock (102837), Basic Black Cardstock (102851) and Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
