Valentine Clear Pouch
I have something to share with you today! Not because I had time to stamp for fun last night, but because I decided to do a different 3-D for the Valentine Class instead of this one. This is an adorable little project so I had to share anyway, but over time the Sticky Strip just isn't holding the pouch together. Not a problem if the recipient eats the candies right away! But I still didn't want to teach it in a class and cause frustration.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- I used a Thick Window Sheet to create this pouch – it goes right through the Big Shot with ease, yet another surface that heavy duty machine can cut!
- Sticky Strip, Sticky Strip, Sticky Strip — no other adhesive has a chance at working!
- Tying the Basic Grey Satin Ribbon around the pouch snuggly holds the side flaps down and where you want them to stay.
- I punched out the heart with the Full Heart Punch and jazzed it up with some images.
- The heart in the center of the "i love you" is one of our brand spankin' new epoxy brads from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog!
WHAT TO ORDER:
A Happy Heart Stamp Set (111758), Things I Love Stamp Set (115229), Thick Window Sheet (114324), Very Vanilla Cardstock (101650), Basic Grey Classic Ink (109120), Real Red Classic Ink (103133), Full Heart Punch (113693), Sticky Strip (104294), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (113439), Pillow Box Bigz Die (113466), Basic Grey Satin Ribbon (Coming Jan. 5th!) and Real Red Epoxy Brads (Coming Jan. 5th!)

Winter Scrapbooking Class
Friday January 22nd
6:30 – 9:30 pm
at Aly's Stamping Studio in West Irondequoit, NY
Non-Refundable Pre-Pay Deadline: January 4th
Each Scrapbooking Class will have a theme, and you'll complete 2, 2-page 12×12 layouts – 4 pages total – that go along with that theme!
In addition, each Scrapbooking Class will include in it's fee a "Product Base" — whatever you don't use from the "Product Base" on the layouts that you create that evening, is yours to go home with and make MORE layouts with to coordinate!
Our first Scrapbooking Class is a "Winter" Scrapbooking Class. Create elegant pages for winter photos from 1940 or save them to use on photos that you will be taking in 2020!
Here's a look at just one of the layouts we will create that evening (these pages are designed to go side-by-side so the second page doesn't have a title) Just as an aside, scrapbook photos are very difficult to photograph. I did the best I could, but the photos just doesn't do these layouts justice! If you would like to see them in person before you sign up for the class, stop on by my studio at any time and I would be happt to show them to you!:

You don't need to bring any photos with you to the scrapbooking classes, the pages are designed so that you can just add those on your own later, once you find the perfect photo! NOTE: Any scrapbook page transforms once photos are added – keep that in mind!
The product base for this class is 1/2 a pack of Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper (6 sheets total) and 1 full pack of Snowflake Printed Window Sheets (2 sheets total). Here's a look at those products ($15.34 value):

The RSVP Deadline is a FIRM January 4th. The Window Sheets cannot be physically ordered past that date, they retire, so this deadline is very important!
The cost of this class is $18 and includes the product base items and all other supplies needed.
You can put a check or money order made payable to Aly Schilling in the mail and send it to 67 Covington Rd, Rochester NY 14617. Or, you can pay online now using a safe and secure checkout with your credit/debit card using the link below ($1 transaction fee applied).
Hope you'll join us!
Are you a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator? You can purchase a PDF File containing full colored photos and step by step instructions of this class for just $6. Click the "Buy Now" link below to do so!

Clear Christmas
This card was very much an "experimental" card for me. I wanted to try out the stencils in addition to a "window sheet" card. Instead of doing 2 different cards to play with these two ideas, I combined them into one! Here's what I came up with:

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- The Bone Folder method of folding doesn't quite do it when you're folding a window sheet – instead, try the scoring blade attachment in your paper cutter for a nice crisp, easy fold!
- When stenciling, try applying a little bit of Dotto to the back of your stencil so that it doesn't slide while you're applying the ink. Be sure to remove the dotto dots from both the stencil and the cardstock when you're done.
- I used Craft Ink for the brown base of the ornament, and Shimmer Paint for the swirly accent! Sponge Daubers were my applicator choice and worked like a charm. Be sure to let each layer dry thoroughly before applying the next layer!!
- The greeting is a rub on – a fabulous way to get the sentiment you want on a surface other than paper (of course, you can use it on paper as well!)
WHAT TO ORDER:
Vintage Ornaments I Decor Stencil (117580), Merry & Bright RubOns (116801), Platinum Shimmer Paint (116807), Soft Suede Cardstock (115318), Medium Window Sheets (114323), Whisper White Satin Ribbon (114616) and Dotto (103305)

Stamp Out Breast Cancer Day #2!
.jpg)
"I can give hope to cancer patients. I have survived breast cancer 6 times. I am going through my 7th diagnosis right now. My cancer is stable at present. I have been on Gemzar for 6 treatments. I have one left in two weeks. My cancer is a stage IV. But I have survived it so many times before I can do it again. I could not have made it without God, my family and friends. Also lots of prayer and a positive attitude. I have had 7 kinds of chemo. They are: 5-FU, Cytoxan, Adriamycin, Taxol, Navelbine, Xeloda, and Gemzar. I have had radiation 5 times. I have taken tamoxifen, Femara, Megase, and Aromasin. It all started in 1982 when I was 37. After that time I was cancer-free for 13 years. Then I had it 5 times in 5 years. Then I was cancer free for almost 7 years. The Lord has blessed me with a good outlook on life. I accept whatever this cancer outcome might be. I do get fearful at times. But I know the Lord has a plan for me. Whether here to tell my story and encourage others or in heaven so other people can tell my story for me. Thank you for this opportunity to tell my story."

- Sprigs of Silver Cord and White Halfback Pearls finish off the butterfly by creating a stylish body and antena.

Fall Frolic Day #8
.jpg)
Welcome to the 8th day of our Fall Frolic Stamping Event! Today's project is a quick and easy little Fall Treat idea.

I'm going to be honest – this little project was 100% about these Jelly Beans and really, I didn't care so much about the stamping part! I saw these Jelly Beans at the grocery store and it was love at first sight… I was just smitten with their colors and knew I had to have them. But since I can't eat them (South Beach Diet), I had to be creative with them instead and just stare at them… soooo… I found this little jar in my "closet of crap" (which has actually gotten a lot cleaner!) and thought it would work perfectly. I filled the Jelly Beans and said "OK! Done!" Then I said "Ok…. I guess I really should do SOMETHING with it…" so did a little bit of altering and tinkering. Nothing fancy, but my oh my are those Jelly Beans beautiful all own their own…
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Find beautiful Jelly Beans. That's really the "must" of this project.
- To stamp on acetate or glass, you'll want to use StazOn Ink so that the ink dries in your lifetime! Here, I used the White StazOn which gives a nice etched glass look as well.
- If you goof stamping with StazOn and want a "do-over" — just use StazOn Cleaner and Paper Towel directly on your mistake, let it dry, and you're good to try again!
- Mini Glue Dots are a wonderful way to help keep your ribbon where you want it to be, wrapped firmly around the tin.
WHAT WAS USED:
Holiday Best Hostess Stamp Set (115364), Chocolate Chip 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (115617), Hemp Twine (100982), StazOn Cleaner (109196), White StazOn Ink Pad & Refill (106960), and Mini Glue Dots (103683)
