A Love Note Message

I'm sorry for my lack of exciting posts lately!! I've been busy, busy, busy preparing for the Stampin' Up! Regional that is coming to Syracuse, NY. We have a big crew going, and I've been getting details together for them, making gifts, planning our special extra events around regional…. and of course working on SWAPs!! Needless to say, there hasn't been much time for extra stamping, and there really hasn't been the time to upload and edit photos! So there's my excuse!

But I do have something to share with you today. We had our Team Fabric Play Day a couple weekends ago, and I made up a bunch of little Valentine Gifts for the gals that attended. Here they are!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• These little jars are the same jars that I used back at Halloween Time for my Spooky Place Card Settings in this post. I just love working with them! They are sold at various wedding sections of stores to be used as wedding favors, but they already put the slits in the top of the cork for holding a place card setting. Instead of using it as a place card, for this project I used the cork slit to hold a little Love Note as a unique way to send some Valentine Love.
• This stamp set, priceless, is just perfect for Valentine's Day, though it can be used any time of year! I just love the style of flourishes and dots.
• I have been having lots of fun playing with grey papers, and according to a recent article I read in a decorating magazine, grey is the color of 2010! So I guess I'm on track!!! Using both Basic Grey and Going Grey together looks wonderful.
• The hearts were punched out using Raw Decor Element Sheets – refer back to this post when I made Christmas Ornaments using these sheets and punches for some tips and tricks on how to get it to punch well.
