Motif Birthday Wishes

I made this card a while back as a birthday card for a good friend and downline member. Forgot to post it way back when, so here it is today! Her favorite thing is flourishes – so I had to be sure to get a flourish image in the card.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

This unique layout came from an old Stampin' Up! Catalog and I changed up the colors, images, etc. Whenever I hit a mental road block with design work, I love pulling out old catalogs to get a layout. If I can start with a layout as the foundation, the rest comes!
Regal Rose, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla make up this subtle but rich color combination.
The pearl at the bottom of the twill tape as a touch of bling to the card without pulling in glitter. Both the pearl from the pretties kit and this width of Twill Tape will be retiring from this catalog on June 30th – be sure to order them while you still can!
For even faux stitch spacing as shown around this card, pull out the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer!
