Cards using "Flower Fancy" 2 days in a row!! I can't say that I do that often! But I just loved how the first one turned out, that I wanted to keep playing with this stamp set and Designer Paper paired together, so decided to start on some Easter Cards!

This one is pretty darn self explanatory… I think the only thing to point out is that the center of the flower is Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter – a fun combo!

Flower Fancy Birthday

Here is a Birthday Card that I made for my Grandma! I just love working with this stamp set, Flower Fancy. It's so striking!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

All of the paper shown here comes from the "Shades of Spring" Designer Series Paper Pack in the Occasions Mini Catalog – I just love it! I'm not normally a pastel person, but paired with this stamp set love the softness it brings.
To achieve the flower look that I have, I inked up the solid image in Classic Ink and then misted it with a Shimmer Paint mixture before inking.
I never use Square Rhinestone Brads! Never! So I challenged myself to put them to use as much as I can this week in my creating. Here's attempt number 1!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

I don't generally do monochromatic cards, but I saw this layout in an old catalog done in So Saffron and really loved the look – so decided to try it with Stars and Pumpkin Pie instead!
The stamp set used here, "Starring You" is a stamp set that you can take for FREE until the end of the month during Sale-A-Bration! I just love that Stampin' Up! is allowing us to pick stamp sets for under $16 this year!
I used the "Scallop Border Punch" to create the scallop edges on the Whisper White Cardstock. I think this was my first time using this edge punch on 2 edges like this with a piece of cardstock in the middle… a little different!

March Team Time!

We had a fantastic Heartfelt Stamper's Team Time last night!! We have re-vamped our Team Times and have a fabulous, fun new format where we're creating a Technique Page, Card and 3-D Project each month!

Jen Rios Raner led our card project this month, here she is teaching us how to use the Tulipe Die negative for stenciling!

And here is her fantastic creation that we each made!

I can't share the technique page or the 3-D project that we did here, that's exclusive for attendees and Out of State Team Members – one of the many perks of being on our Team! But I will share with you the cover of my Technique book. I issued a "Technique Cover Contest" for each of the girls that attended, they were all given a blank cover and then this month need to decorate it in whatever way they wish, then we'll be voting on our favorites at our Retreat Weekend and giving out free prizes to the winners!

We also kicked off a BRAND NEW Incentive & Recognition Program for Team Members!!!
