You mean EVERYTHING to me.
A couple of months ago at our Team Christmas Party we did a Valentine SWAP to have some ideas on hand for the upcoming holiday. Well, I set this gem aside to share with you all closer to the date – and here it is!
Team Member Jen Rios Raner made this card – and I just adore it! The card is even more fitting for her, because her husband's name is Eric — so the "E" on the top can stand for Eric in her case — or the word "Everything" in red for the rest of us! Very clever 
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS: 
- Sick of just tying your ribbon in a knot around a cardstock layer? Try this fun little trick that Jen did here with using one ribbon piece around another for a knotless use of ribbon – love it!
- The texture plates are a wonderful way to add some extra "umph" to a card – check out the diamonds in the background of the red cardstock here.
- Bring out your Stampin' Write Markers when you want to draw extra attention to a word! Just ink up the word you want to draw attention to in another color, as done here with the word "everything."

Heart Birthday
My Birthday was back on January 17th, and the best thing about birthdays in the Stamping World is handmade cards!! My mom made me this birthday card, and I just adore it!

While I was away at Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference, I had the opportunity to attend Manager's Reception – a fun, FUN night out for Manager's & Above with the company! This year we went to a ranch and had an awesome Fiesta! It's tradition that we receive a free stamp set each Manager's Reception, and this year was no exception! Valentine for a Friend!
I was playing around before I left for Leadership Conference and this was one of the cards I ended up with! I was wanting to use this fabulous new Designer Paper, and pull in the glittery element of it.
ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS: 
- I just can't stop this punch technique!! I just love it. Here, I punched out lots of red textured 5 petal flowers and adhered them to the regular red cardstock. It creates the most darling tone on tone look!
- Don't be afraid to combine all sorts of products, even if they weren't designed to coordinate! Here, I wanted to use this flower designer paper. I then paired it with the Trio Flower punch that took on the same shape and the shopping back because it's tag had the same flower shape.
- Hodgepodge Hardware doesn't always have to be anchored with a coordinating brad! Here, I used an Epoxy Brad on one side and ribbon on the other.

U Pick 2: Friend to Friend
It's time to share the 2nd card in my January – April U Pick 2 Menu! This card I cannot take full design credit for — one of my Team Members, Christine Luce, created a VERY similar card for our Valentine Team SWAP back in December and I just adored it! I changed stamping to the Heart Punches, tied the ribbon a little differently, and added the Polka Dot Embossing Background on Textured Cardstock.
