Easter Hop!

Happy Friday!!!
It's MDS Blog Hop day, and today's challenge was Easter!!! I'm still stuck on my 2009 album when Landon was born AFTER Easter, so rather than jumping ahead to another album (and risk getting side tracked on the way!) I thought I would share my Easter Subway Art displayed!
Subway Art is SO FUN to make in My Digital Studio — with all of the color selections and the ease of the software for formatting and editing, it's a breeze!
Back in this post I had talked about the year of Subway Art project, so this is one of those 13 inserts:

I've been enjoying it all bright and cheerful the last few weeks!
Now do the bunny hop on over to check out the other projects!
“On the Go!” Classes & Kit Offerings!
Thank you to everyone who has e-mailed me with interest in taking the March Classes "On the Go!" This is a wonderful alternative for my long distance readers, and I'm happy to be able to offer it!
The big question has been which classes are available "On the Go!"…. and the answer for this month is ALL of them!!!!! YES! Even the Spring Fever Class!!!!! I'm not always able to offer the rotating Creative Tuesday Class "On the Go!" — but I'm so happy to say that this one is available, and will come complete with step by step instructions and photos on how to make the 3-D templates.
Here's a rundown of all of the current "On the Go!" offerings and links for more details on the kits!

hoppe On the Go!
Can't make it to The Stamp Shoppe? No problem! You can do both Scrapbook and Card Shoppe Classes "On the Go!"
These "On the Go!" Kits are available seperately (get 1 or the other or both) and include all of the pre-cut cardstock pieces, all accessories (ribbon, brads, rhinestones, etc). Additionally, any punching or die cutting is done for you!
The only thing that these kits don't include is the stamping per copyright policies. You can use any images you already have that fit in the space, or, purchase the supplies needed (if you purchase a qualifying amount, the kits are actually FREE!)
For more information on "Shoppe On the Go!" CLICK HERE.
Stamp-A-Stack Kits!
You can receive a kit for the Stamp-A-Stack cards to complete at home!
This "On the Go!" kit is actually my MOST POPULAR kit, people love stamping quantity, and 2 designs makes things easy.

Spring Fever Kit!
You'll receive very detailed, photographed instructions on how to create the templates for the 2 "treat" items as part of your PDF instruction file.
The kit isn't stamped per copyright policies, but the stamping is EXTREMELY minimal (just sentiments!) since it uses a Simply Scrappin' Kit.

Woodland Newsprint
I'm in love with this new stamp set, Growing Green. It's fabulous for watercoloring! I paired it with one of our newest designer series papers, Newsprint, to give it a different look!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- To achieve the watercolored look shown here, load your Rich Razzleberry ink into an Aqua Painter and color 1 petal at a time, allowing it to run out before reloading – that way, each of your colors are a different tone! For best results, use Watercolor Paper.
- The sentiment "Thanks so much" is from a stamp set in the Summer Mini Catalog called "Watercolor Trio". My reason for loving it? Because all of the sentiments in the set (3 total) fit PERFECTLY in the Designer Label Punch/Hodgepodge Hardware accent!
- Vintage Brads are a DELICIOUS new accessory, I used one here on the right hand side of the Designer Label Hodgepodge Hardware piece. Order the full pack or get a sampling as part of my New Accessory Share – click here for details! You'll also find a share that includes this lucious 1 1/4" Striped Black Grosgrain Ribbon shown here.
WHAT TO ORDER:
Watercolor Trio Stamp Set (Wood – 117050, Clear – 120084), Growing Green Stamp Set (Wood – 118758, Clear – 120624), Rich Razzleberry Cardstock (115316), Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink (115658), Basic Black Classic Ink (101179), Basic Black Cardstock (121045), Basic Black 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (115615 – share also available), Watercolor Paper (105019), Crumb Cake Cardstock (120953), Newsprint Designer Series Paper (117166 – share also available), Antique Brads (117273 – share also available), Neutrals Brads (119736 – share also available), Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware (111325), Basic Pearls (119247), Linen Thread (104199), Designer Label Punch (119862), Photo Corner Punch (119878) and Aqua Painters (103954)

Greenhouse Spritz & Shimmer
I had made this card a while back… thought I had posted it (during the 2-Step into Spring Promotion…) and alas, I have not! Whoops! So here it is, a card showcasing the "Greenhouse Garden" stamp set – which you can of course sill order!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- To achieve this shimmery watercolored look on the flowers, you're going to mix up ahead of time some Rubbing Alcohol and Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint in a Sprtiz Bottle. Then, ink up your bold, colored, base image (So Saffron, Rose Red and Bashful Blue shown here) and BEFORE stamping the image on your cardstock, give the rubber and ink a direct sprtiz with our Shimmer Mist. This will add shimmer and blend your ink!
- The spritz look to the left of the main image was done with a Color Spritzer Tool and a Rose Red Stampin' Write Marker – sprtizing all the way through (a theme I seem to have going on these days!)
- Paper Piercing is made easing with the Stampin' Up! Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool, as shown along the thin strip of Sahara Sand Cardstock.
- Using the Corner Rounder on cardstock adds a look of subtle softness to any project!
Did you notice that I used the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint that was in the Holiday Mini Catalog? Did you know that it's still available for purchase!? That's right! The Shimmer Paints and several other products from both the Holiday Mini and Occasions Mini Catalog are being carried over! To help you keep track of what you can still order, I've posted a PDF link to a printable brochure. Here's a look at the brochure…

Spring Song Scrapbooking Class!
Friday April 9th
6:30 – 9:30 pm
at Aly's Stamping Studio in West Irondequoit, NY
Non-Refundable Pre-Pay Deadline: April 1st!
Our April Scrapbooking Class is a "Spring Song" Scrapbooking Class. Create fabulous springy pages that are generic enough to be used for any photos you have!
Here's a look at just one of the layouts we will create that evening (these pages are designed to go side-by-side so the second page doesn't have a title and instead has room for journaling). Just as an aside, scrapbook photos are very difficult to photograph. I did the best I could, but the photos just doesn't do these layouts justice! If you would like to see them in person before you sign up for the class, stop on by my studio at any time and I would be happy to show them to you!:
