MDS Friday – A Calendar Gift

Happy Friday!!! Can you believe that there's only a week left until Christmas!?!? It's crazy!

Today I wanted to share with you the Christmas Gifts I made up for all of my Team Members that were at our Team Christmas Party! I used the Jewel Case Calendar Template and added photos of the cards we've made this past year to the photo boxes:

I added hearts to dates we have a Team Event!

Then, I clipped them all to a clothespin, but magnet on the back of the clothespin, some Domestic Goddess DSP and Basic Grey 1 1/4" Grosgrain on the front!

Enjoy and go check out the other projects for the week!

MDS Friday – Christmas Countdown!

Happy Friday!!! It's time for an MDS Blog Hop! This rest of the month we're going to be showing you things that we're working on for Christmas!!!

What I'm sharing today is a fun project I've been doing with my son. He's 2 1 /2 and at such a fun age, just starting to "get it" with the whole Christmas thing! While I really WANTED to do a countdown calendar with our Peekaboo Frame Die on Stampin' Store Containers… I just didn't have the time. SO, I designed this sign in MDS, and printed of 25, changing the numbers for each day!

Then, every day, I've been taking a picture of him holding the sign! It started off with a letter from the North Pole letting him know what we were doing — that if he was a good boy and held up the number for a photo, he would get to do a fun Christmas Activity to celebrate!

Then, I've been putting all of the photos into a Swatchbook! That way he'll have it for all of the memories — with 26 pages including the cover, it comes out perfect for the 25 Days of Christmas! Here are some of the pages:

MDS Friday – Some Christmas Tags!

Happy Friday!!! It's time for an MDS Blog Hop! This week's theme was MONOCHROMATIC! I have to admit, this was a tough one for me…. I'm a color person and sticking to 1 was very challenging! I just couldn't make it work in any of my scrapbook pages (I'm way too matchy matchy!) so decided to try some Christmas Tags with less area to fill. I love how they turned out!! Here they are:

Now to go finish Christmas Shopping…….. and then wrap the gifts………. so that I can put these on something!!!

Enjoy and go check out the other projects for the week!

MDS Friday: Remembrance

It's time for another My Digital Studio Friday Challenge & Blog Hop!!!

This week's challenge was "REMEMBRANCE !" It's been a while since I've worked on my 2009 album with all of the projects I've had going on — and I REALLY need to get back to that – before 2011 ends! So I looked through my photos to see what I could use to fit the theme, and found some Memorial Day and thought that would fit – remembrance, memorial…. 'ya know!

So here is the page I came up with:

This page is such a hodgepodge of things!!! The background paper is from Well Worn, the strip along the bottom is from the Noteworthy Digital Content CD and a thin strip of cardstock with some stitching. The stamp brushes I used as well as the star shape are all from Red, White and Blue Embellishments Kit. Then we have some Vintage Trinkets, Deck the Halls Buttons and Baker's Twine!

Now head on over and see what other girls have come up with this week!

MDS Friday: Calendars!

It's time for another My Digital Studio Friday Challenge & Blog Hop!!!

This week's challenge is "CALENDARS!" I've been working a lot on calendars lately, so I thought I would share a couple. This first one is one that I made for my husband to have at work – not only does he have a useful calendar out of the deal, but he can see our  son, Landon, while he's at work. He misses him a lot, so this was a fun way to give him lots of pictures

.

This WHOLE CALENDAR started with a download template! I just ADORE templates…. it makes things SO EASY! This is the "Year to Remember 2012 Calendar" download (127619):

The ONLY change I made to the template was dragging in photos over top of the 12×12 designer papers they had in place, and then adding some Digital Tape (you can get some for FREE over at MyDigitalStudio.net over the next few days!!!) to the corners.

Above is what the whole January spread looks like, here are a couple more of just the top pages (the ones I added stuff to!)

This calendar makes for a fun, SIMPLE, gift!!! I'm all about quick in easy sometimes – especially when I have so many gifts on my list that I want to make – the Designer Templates are such a huge help! I love this particular kit as a good masculine gift option — the papers lend themselves to that style.

The next calendar I thought I would share is one that I'm printing off on magnets for my customers!!! It's a listing of all of the class times and dates for 2012, and I created it with the NEW CALENDAR FUNCTIONALITY that EVERYONE has if you have updated to the latest version of My Digital Studio!

It looks pretty small on the screen, but is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", so once printed, it will be much more readable!

I'm HOOKED on calendars…. and have been making them as gifts for EVERYONE this Christmas, in all sorts of forms! There are 2 other great calendar downloads — a 2012 Planner and a Jewel Case DVD — be sure to give them a lookie!

Now head on over and see what other calendars the girls have come up with this week!

MDS Friday: Photocards!

It's time for another My Digital Studio Friday Challenge & Blog Hop!!!

This week's challenge was to showcase Photocards….

I CHEATED!!!!!!!

I've been busy whipping off lots of samples to have on hand for our upcoming My Digital Studio Christmas Class - only, I didn't design them!! I've just been dropping in photos because I want to show the attendees what all of these wonderful templates look like in REAL LIFE and how EASY it is to use My Digital Studio for a homemade holiday.

So what you see here are samples of all of the FABULOUS downloads you can get right now — most are only $1.95 each, and the photo postcards are part of our new BULK PRINTING program, so quality prints are also cheaper!
