Nope, I haven't died. I'm still alive and kickin'…. just not stampin'!!! Believe… in Woodland Walk

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• Every once in a while, I'm in the mood for a monochromatic card (different hues of the same color) – the designing of this card came at a time for one of those moods! And it's easy to do with the Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper – each piece but 1 has it's own monochromatic line up!
• To get the watercolor look on the main image, I inked up the image and then spritzed it with water before stamping it onto the Watercolor Paper and volia!
• I just love it when greetings line up with punches… it looks great and saves oodles of time – two things I'm ALL about! This greeting works fantastic with the largest of our oval punches.

Cottage Gloss

Have I mentioned how much I adore this Designer Paper!? Haha! I'm pretty sure I've said it about a dozen times, but it's true – it's just divine! When I haven't used it in a couple projects I start to miss it… so needed to pull it out to use on this card!

• Were you as infatuated with the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper from the last catalog as I was? Woodland Newsprint

I'm in love with this new stamp set, Growing Green. It's fabulous for watercoloring! I paired it with one of our newest designer series papers, Newsprint, to give it a different look!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• To achieve the watercolored look shown here, load your Rich Razzleberry ink into an Aqua Painter and color 1 petal at a time, allowing it to run out before reloading – that way, each of your colors are a different tone! For best results, use Watercolor Paper.
• The sentiment "Thanks so much" is from a stamp set in the Summer Mini Catalog called "Watercolor Trio". My reason for loving it? Because all of the sentiments in the set (3 total) fit PERFECTLY in the Designer Label Punch/Hodgepodge Hardware accent!
• Vintage Brads are a DELICIOUS new accessory, I used one here on the right hand side of the Designer Label Hodgepodge Hardware piece. Newsprint Amour…

By far, my favorite new line in the entire new catalog is the "Vintage Suite" line. You can get an overview on pages 124 and 125 of the new catalog. Here is a card I created using some products from this line!

• You're going to be seeing this line a LOT from me, because I find it just delicious! On this card, I've used the Newsprint Designer Series Paper and Antique Brads to create the overall tone for the card.
• I'm not sure that I've ever created a card so simplistic in it's color choices! But it works. I just love how crisp simple usage of black and vanilla is. I did throw in some Crumb Cake for another neutral addition.
• To make this wide striped grosgrain ribbon narrow, I just folded it in half!

Butterfly Flight & Shine!

Can I just say that I L-O-V-E all of my new goodies!? Because I do!!! I had so much fun sitting down and creating with a fresh assortment of product. I also am in love with the Color Renovation – designing is SO MUCH EASIER with this new color line up! And my shelves feel so uncluttered having had weeded out the colors that weren't used all that much. Here's the first card that I'll share with you from my new shipment!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• This new Specialty Paper is just to die for! It's the "Sweet & Sour" that has glossy designs! I've made a couple of cards now with this package, and have loved each of them – Top Pick for sure!
• We have a fabulous new stamp set called "Butterfly Prints" that coordinates with the butterfly punch. The Designs are really great, and coordinate beautifully with this Specialty Paper.
• By far, the thing that I am MOST excited about from this catalog are the Rhinestone and Pearl accents!!!!! Here, used a rhinestone accent as the head of the butterfly. These new Jewel Packages are sold separately which I love because I can use them ALL I WANT! Only $4.95 for 150 pre-adhesive jewels – you can't beat that!
• All of our buttons have been reconfigured and oh my gosh, loving it! There are so many more colors to choose from and it makes designing so easy. Here I used a flower button from the Subtles Package.
