Package Like Birthday Card Idea!
Hi Everyone!
Today I wanted to share with you a super cute Birthday Card Idea. It's one that we're making at the Year of Birthdays Class Tuesday evening, so here's a special close up for all. I was inspired by a package on this one… so the card is meant to mimic a package wrapped in twine with a label. I was really happy with how it came out… I thought it made a unique style card that's a little out of the box.

Aly's Stampin' Supply List: That's the Ticket Stamp Set, Ticket Duo Punch, Lovely Little Labels Stamp Set, Little Labels Punch Pack, Chock Full of Cheer Stamp Set, Early Espresso Ink Pad, Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad, Crumb Cake Cardstock, Early Espresso Cardstock, Whisper White Cardstock, Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper, Linen Thread, Naturals Buttons, Mini Glue Dots and Stampin' Dimensionals.

Motif Birthday Wishes
I made this card a while back as a birthday card for a good friend and downline member. Forgot to post it way back when, so here it is today! Her favorite thing is flourishes – so I had to be sure to get a flourish image in the card.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- This unique layout came from an old Stampin' Up! Catalog and I changed up the colors, images, etc. Whenever I hit a mental road block with design work, I love pulling out old catalogs to get a layout. If I can start with a layout as the foundation, the rest comes!
- Regal Rose, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla make up this subtle but rich color combination.
- The pearl at the bottom of the twill tape as a touch of bling to the card without pulling in glitter. Both the pearl from the pretties kit and this width of Twill Tape will be retiring from this catalog on June 30th – be sure to order them while you still can!
- For even faux stitch spacing as shown around this card, pull out the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer!
WHAT TO ORDER:
Items in RED are RETIRING on June 30th – Order while you still can! Accessories are ONLY while SUPPLIES LAST!

Celebration with Lots of Texture!
I had so much fun creating this card for all of my Top Ten Sales Achievers this month! It has oodles of texture adding to the interest of the card.

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:
- Spice up your backgrounds by selecting Textured Cardstock instead of solid, as the So Saffron cardstock layer is here! Add another element of interest by embossing the stars with White Embossing Powder.
- These "gathered" paper pieces are very easy to do – simply take a 3/4" x 12" piece of Designer Paper, put a full strip of adhesive down the paper, secure it to the cardstock at the top, and then just fold the paper randomly as you're attaching it to the cardstock.
- Jazz up any card by stamping a coordinating image on a piece of cardstock, punching it with a 1" Circle Punch, and popping it behind one of our Clear Buttons!

More Team SWAPS!
It's time to share some more cards made by Heartfelt Stamper's Team Members! (Yes, this means that I've been way too busy preparing for our Retreat Weekend to stamp blog cards!).
Created by Christine Luce: I just love the simplicity of this card! This color wash paired with Jet Black StazOn is very striking.

Created by Christine Luce: Another Christine Card, again with the simplicity! That sure is her forte! This darling Bitty Birthday stamp set is one that you can take for FREE during Sale-A-Bration!

Created by Patty Braun: Patty has showcased another stamp set that you can take for FREE During Sale-A-Bration (only 4 days left!!!) – "C is for Cat". I would never have thought to pair this stamp set with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder, but it works so nice!

The Regional that Wasn’t SWAPS
I'm now referring to the Syracuse Regional as "The Regional that Wasn't" – lol! Because I find I'm always wanting to share things from "The Regional" – but there wasn't actually a Regional! So these SWAPS are from the "Regional that Wasn't"!! A bunch of ladies that were attending and already had their SWAPS done mailed them so that we could still exchange some ideas. I still have about 40 SWAPS un-swapped… I think I'll have to sign up for an online SWAP somewhere!
Created by Kristen Koskie: Kristen used one of my favorite stamp sets in the Occasions Mini Catalog, Vintage Vogue! I love the simplicity of this card and what she's done to distress the Scallop Circle Punch and make it into a floral accent.

Created by Debbie Sowards: This stamp set "Simply Said", is an oldie but a goodie! It's been around the block for a while, but it never gets old to me. Every time I see a card done with it, I just say "Oh how I love that stamp set!" I just love Debbie's color selection of Sage Shadow, Barely Banana, Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip.

Created by Michelle Fairbrother: The top of this card that the flower is on is actually a flap that opens up and you can stick a gift card or note inside! Very cute. I also love how she created the flower itself by distressing circle layers – it looks like she did the same thing as Kristen did on the first card I showed and misted water on the cardstock to crinkle it up better. Her use of the Scallop Corner Punch is also very cleaver!

Team Time SWAPS!
One of my favorite things about our Monthly Heartfelt Stamper's Team Times is seeing everyone's fabulous creations in the form of SWAPS! Here are 3 of my favorites from our March Team Time!
Created by Kriss Huels: Kriss used a stamp set called "Elements of Style" from the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog – it's becoming one of my all time favorite sets! Love it!! She paired it beautifully with Bordering Blue, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink and Always Artichoke colors.
.jpg)

Created by Phyl Lyons: I just love the layout that Phyl selected! She achieved the fabulous background with a Wood Grain Texturz Plate in the Big Shot. It's funny because I hardly ever see Bordering Blue used and I used it on my own SWAP, Kriss used it on hers above and Phyl used it on this one! Must be a new trend!

Created by Pam Kane: Another great choice of layout! I love all of the layering that Pam did with Not Quite Navy, So Saffron and Kraft Cardstock. This stamp set is a Level 2 Hostess Exclusive!
