Butterflies to DIE for!

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated my niece's birthday. Being the only girl in the family… it had to be made a pretty girly event!!! My mom went all out and decorated the patio with Die Cut Butterflies… check it out!

Monogram Stationary

Well, I'm just all about quickies these days (in my stamping life…!) and the card (if you even want to call it that!) that I'm sharing with you today is nothing but quick! In fact… it really isn't even a card, but rather just pieces of stationary. I wanted to have some simple sheets to have on hand to jot down notes and quick thoughts here and there, and thought I'll be darned if I purchase stationary when I can make it myself!

The cardstock backing sheets are just random scraps of cardstock I had and wanted to use. The neutral shade that is cut out with the Top Note Die is Sahara Sand Cardstock. The flourish is from my ALL TIME STAMP SET OF CHOICE… Elements of Style… I mean SERIOUSLY…. isn't that stamp set just the best!? I am always pulling it out for accents. The "A" comes from my new, FAVORITE, alphabet set… "Broadsheet Alphabet". And can I just say that using alphabet sets has NEVER been easier since we came out with or Clear Mount Stamps? There are no more worries about lining things up, that's for darn sure!

Pennant Banner Die Fabric Baby Outfit

Yesterday I shared with you the card and gift bag we created for a Team Member's new baby, today I wanted to share with you the gift! It's a darling little outfit all created with the Big Shot & Dies – the "skirt" is on an elastic band with velcro so it can go around any onesie, it was made from the Pennant Banner Die. The Onesies use the scallops from that die to border the collar, and the headband is gathering those sames scallops on the top.

Congratulations to New Baby Card & Bag Set

One of my downline had a baby recently, and so we presented her with a handmade gift and card. Today I'll share with you the card and the gift bag the gift was in, tomorrow I'll post the gift itself – so check back in tomorrow!

And then I failed to take a picture of the entire gift bag… shame on me! But I took a picture of the top of it (the "important" part!) – this top was just on a White Paper Gift Sack:

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• This DARLING image is one of our individual stamps! I just love that for only $8.95  you can have the PERFECT new baby image and greeting combined without having a full set – for those who don't have a need for such a sentiment too often, it's just perfect! The elephants (mama and bebe!) and "congratulations" are all one image (so nope – you don't have to line that sentiment up!)
• The bag topper features our newest baby print designer paper – Nursery Suite. This paper is a specialty paper, so you get 2 sheets of this BEAUTIFUL Regal Rose CIRCLE paper!!! The paper is already cut in a scallop circle with all of the laser cut shapes. It's just stunning! There is also a Baja Breeze Square Cut paper for the boys. Loving it! The striped paper you see on the Congrats card is also from this assortment pack – the reverse sides of all of this paper is VERY "neutral" and can be used for any occasion – not just baby. I'm thinking some of it will be really great for Easter… stay tuned this Spring!
• The wonderful little scallop borders that you see on both pieces in addition to the circle "Dream" accent on the bag all come from the Nursery Suite Quick Accents set. The images are all pre-cut, colored, printed, etc. and the best of both worlds between stickers and die cuts – it's heavy card stock quality like a Die Cut – but sticky like a sticker!

Blossom in a Box!

I've had this Flower Folds Die for a while now, and since I got the fabulous Extra $25 from Stampin' Up! on a qualifying order this month I buckled and got this Bitty Box Die as well with my Hostess Benefits!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

• This project is darling, but really, very, very easy to put together! The dies do all of the work – you just have to pop them together and add a little jazz!
• In Colors take the Stage with this project… Pear Pizzaz, Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade! These 3 colors paired with Daffodil Delight is what the "Sunny Garden" Designer Series Paper is all about (which I used on the 1 1/4" Circle Punch).
• I just love when things coordinate (it's my FAVORITE thing about Stampin' Up! products!) so I was ALL OVER it when I saw that this Designer Series Paper matched the "Cottage Garden" stamp set.
• When assembling the Bitty Box, be sure to use Sticky Strip so that it holds up well to movement. When cutting Sticky Strip, I like to use the Craft & Rubber Scissors so that I don't gunk up the ones reserved for paper or ribbon.
