Christmas House Project!

Before I share today's project, don't forget that there are just 5 hours left to order the Simply Scored and Cookie Press Stamps at 20% off!!! The deadline is tonight at 11:50 pm MT (1:50 am EST). Read more about it in today's earlier post : )
For today's project, I'm going to share a super cute Christmas House that also serves as a Gift Box! The thing I love about this project so much is that it's so stinkin' cute it makes a great decor piece, but it is completely practical and usable as a gift box, because it's a super decent size, not itty bitty and useless for anything but a single earring : )

You can make this project best on the Simply Scored (on sale today only for 20% off!) — simply score a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock at the following places.
With the 8" side flush against the top of the Simply Scored, score at:
- 1 3/4"
- 6 1/2"
With the 11" side flush against the top of the Simply Scored, score at:
- 1 3/4"
- 5 1/4"
- 7"
- 10 1/2"
Then, score at a diagonal from the top middle to the end of each of the top panels that form a roof, so you have two triangles.
Here's a close up of how it will open:

Check back tomorrow for another Christmas Project idea!
Christmas Fabric Bow

Today's project is one shown at Convention, and then we made at our Stamping Retreat Weekend in October! I fell in love with the fact that I didn't have to sew to make it — it's all hot glued! You just make a "tube" of fabric by hot gluing the ends. Here, I made one loop, and then the 2nd one was a loop with the tails — then I tied the two pieces together so it was a double loop bow.

The accent in the center was made using a Holly Berry Bouquet button (to match the Holly Berry Bouquet Fabric that was used) and two die cut leaves from the Stocking Accent Die – and stamped with the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set.

Come back tomorrow for another Christmas Project!
AND — tomorrow, TWO items will be on sale for 24-hours ONLY!!!!! So you'll want to be sure to get RIGHT on and checking them out since the sale will be so short lived.
And remember – when you order these sale items online at alystamps.stampinup.net, you are also eligible for Aly's Online Ordering Rewards at the same time – be entered to win the free stamp set of the month, and get a Frequent Shopper's punch card for every $40 spent!
Two Tags Treat!

Time for another Christmas Project! Today I'm sharing a little treat holder made with the Two Tags die! Rather than folding the die on the score line, I let it "go long". The paper used is the Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Paper (YUM GLITTER PAPER!). For the tag accent, I used a window sheet for the circle and for punches: scallop oval, designer label and 1 1/4" Circle. The stamp set is "Pines and Poinsettias" — it coordinates with the Holly Berry Bouquet paper.

Inside, I used my SImply Scored to make a little box — I'm sorry I don't have the exact measurements — but I scored 1" on each side — I think the starting piece was around 4" x 3", but you can play around and see what works — it holds Nuggets perfectly! And I totally cased this from a project shown at Convention : )

Come back tomorrow for another Christmas Project!
Sixxlet Cello Treat

Are you ready for today's project?!? This was a fun one to make : ) — I just ADORE the 1×8 Cello Bags in the Holiday Mini – and I started with that filled with some Christmas Colors Sixxlet candies as my base. Then I made a cute little topper with them from the Holly Berry Bouquet Line:

I had fun with texture on this little topper — the Velvet Ribbon (also in the holiday mini) is just DELICIOUS!!!! Then I busted out the sewing machine to sew a pleat of fabric under the velvet ribbon. Here's a close up:

Come back tomorrow for another Christmas Project!!!

The holiday season is the best time of the year for creating special handmade gifts and decorations. That's why we're offering a special stamping opportunity (at SEVERAL different dates and times) to create lots of goodies, gifts, gift packaging, Christmas tags and more!
We have broken "Goodies and Gifts" into TWO class options to best suit your needs. You're welcome to come to any of these sessions and just do 1 or both of these class options. Or, if you're taking another class during the times these classes are being offered, you can do both! Just tag one of these NEW gift giving class options on as an "Add On".
As always, Stamp Shoppe & Creative Tuesday offerings are a la carte so you do what YOU want to do! The sky is the limit as to what combinations of classes you can take. And if you "want it all" – you can come to all of the sessions to get it all in!
Option A includes a Wine Bottle Tag and Bow, a Decorated Box & Tag and a Stocking Gift Card Holder (or use it for candy canes or any other small trinkets!). Here's a look at these projects:

Option B includes a darling punch art Santa topping a 1×8 cello bag with a Twizzler (or add a pencil or any other item from home), a gift bag that holds a card right in the front of it (you'll make the card, too!) and a gift tag that pulls out and also serves as a bookmark!

HOW MUCH is Goodies & Gifts? Each class option is $8 or FREE with a $15 Stampin' Up! Order placed during the class.
WHAT do I need to bring to Goodies & Gifts? Stampin' Up! Brand SNAIL Adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals – all other supplies are provided! If you don't have either of these items, let me know when you register and we can get them ordered for you so that you have them for the next session you attend.
DO I NEED TO PRE-PAY? No! But I DO need to know that you're coming by noon on November 27th for the November 29th session, or by noon on December 7th for the December 9th and 10th sessions in order to prepare an accurate number of cut materials. More Grand Achiever’s Day Treats and Highlights!
I hope you enjoyed yesterday's post — Part 1 of the Grand Achiever's Day highlights! Now it's time for MORE!
Here are some photos of the girls working on their albums. A closer look at the album will be coming soon, because it will be one of the classes available during December's Creative Tuesday!

After all of the stamping, it was time to head outside for dinner! My hubby grilled for us — hot dogs, hamburgers, pasta salad and potato salad – Camp Food!!!

We enjoyed the food around a Campfire : )

And then it was time for Games!!! If there's one thing that's become a ritual – it's CRAZY games…. I make them work hard for their stamps, LOL! But the girls were motivated to bring on the crazies at this event, because at stake were two 6×6 albums and two copies of the "Daring Adventure" stamp set that we used for the pages!

And what was their silly game to earn them?? A Mini Marshmallow competition!!!! They broke into Teams of 4, and started at a cup of Mini Marshmallows…

They had to put a Mini Marshmallow in their nose and run down to the other table….

And blow it out into their cup on the other side!

They had 2 minutes to get as many marshmallows into the cup as they could… and the winner got a FREE Stamp Set or Album!! It was so stinkin' fun (and FUNNY!!!!!)

And then…. it was time for Gourmet 'Smores!!!! I made each of the girls a Gourmet 'Smore Cookbook on My Digital Studio. I printed off all of the pages on Whisper Whisper White Cardstock and put them together with a Binder Ring and some ribbon:

Each of the pages had a different 'Smore recipe!

Here's what the actual MDS JPEGS looked like:

There were 8 recipes, I'm not going to put them all here, but will share a couple!

And the best part??? They all got a FULL 'Smore fixin's buffet with ALL of the options in the recipe book!!!

So they got to make DELICIOUS gourmet 'smores and roast marshmallows around the fire!

And when we had finally had enough 'Smores, it was time to wind down and share our Workshop Horror Stories around the campfire : )

What a BLAST!!!! I just love our Team Events, they are so much fun and the friendships that develop from them are priceless.
And now….. for a VIDEO HIGHLIGHT!
