All of the boxes were a little different using an assortment of Spring Papers…

Inside each of the boxes was a Stampin' Spot and Mini Stamp for everyone to use as their Bingo Markers!

My First Video… Spring Retreat Highlights!

Alright, Ladies! Bare with me! This is my VERY FIRST attempt at doing any kind of video work, so be kind, lol! Actually… I think it turned out pretty good considering.

So this video is one big highlight of The Heartfelt Stamper's Spring Retreat Weekend. It's much too difficult to capture the excitement and energy in photos – putting a video together seemed to be the only way!

So the "Name Badge Runway…" yeah, what a HOOT wasn't it!?!? Oh my goodness I was in hysterics the entire time – never in a million years did I expect everyone to have THAT much fun with it!!! The whole idea of it was I mailed everyone a piece of chipboard a couple of weeks before the retreat and they were instructed to use it in any way they wished to create a Stampin' Up! made Name Badge for themselves…

While, when they got there Friday Night little did they know how they would be used! Out came the Name Badge Runway and everyone took turns walking down it to music… Jen was in on it and brought a Black Boa with her… it saved the day and helped everyone to get into it! But in the process it just became so silly that there was no real judging of the name badges (our judges got a bit carried away with their number ratings as you could see in the video) so we ended up just drawing names for the winners, but EVERYONE was a winner!

I was much too busy laughing and videotaping to really focus on the name badges so did a terrible job at taking still photos… so I only have 2 to share with you, but here they are!

Spring Retreat – Paris Nights Dinner Party!

Today I'm going to share with you our Friday Night Dinner Party from Retreat Weekend – a Paris Nights Dinner!!!

One of the reasons we love the location that we hold the retreat at so much is because it has this huge industrial size kitchen so everyone brings a dish to pass for the weekend and we stick it in the oven and don't have to worry about paying for expensive catering! Here are the girls who signed up for Friday Night Dinner getting it ready to be put out!

The tables were decorated..

Each person had a Paris themed favor at their tables – Coconut Macaroons jazzed up with a stamp from "Chic Boutique" — the theme stamp set for the night!

After dinner we had some games, the first one… I used these French Decor Elements from our DD catalog and made up Flash Cards in true Stampin' Up! Style!

I involved Stampin' Up! Staff on this one… I had e-mailed my Service Accounts Manager at Stampin' Up! to be the "right" answers… she named for us a Stampin' Up! Product for each letter on the flash cards, and everyone had to think of the same… if their answer lined up with the Stampin' Up! Staff answer, they got a point! Here is a table deep in concentration…

Kriss was so deep in concentration that she actually light her napkin on fire and had to rush it to the bathroom sink…. we were DYING and I couldn't get to my camera in time, this was the best that I could do…

Then I had a prize table for people who ended with the highest points…

Then another one of the prizes was this cute Chef set…

And a couple of wire decorations that I just had to get because of how they coordinated with the Chic Boutique stamp set!

The next game after this one was a Stampin' Up! Relay Race. We had a table set up at the end filled with Stampin' Up! Products and there were 2 Teams. Each person had to run up and complete a step on the card and the first Team to finish won!

And the winning Team each got a little bundle of "Merci" chocolates from Paris stamped with of course the Chic Boutique Stamp Set…

Phew! What a fun night!!!!! AND…. the night was still very young as this post ends! After the Paris Nights Dinner we had a stamping class that focused on the Summer Mini Catalog, a "Name Badge Runway" and late night Shoebox Swap Stamping!

March Team Time!

We had a fantastic Heartfelt Stamper's Team Time last night!! We have re-vamped our Team Times and have a fabulous, fun new format where we're creating a Technique Page, Card and 3-D Project each month!

Jen Rios Raner led our card project this month, here she is teaching us how to use the Tulipe Die negative for stenciling!

And here is her fantastic creation that we each made!

I can't share the technique page or the 3-D project that we did here, that's exclusive for attendees and Out of State Team Members – one of the many perks of being on our Team! But I will share with you the cover of my Technique book. I issued a "Technique Cover Contest" for each of the girls that attended, they were all given a blank cover and then this month need to decorate it in whatever way they wish, then we'll be voting on our favorites at our Retreat Weekend and giving out free prizes to the winners!

Here's some of the ladies hard at work with their projects!

We also kicked off a BRAND NEW Incentive & Recognition Program for Team Members!!! We have a brand new incentive day called "Grand Sales Achievers Day" and anyone who receives "Sweet Treat Accessory Cups" throughout the Year gets to attend! Cocktails & Banana Splits PJ Party

Even though Regionals was canceled last weekend, a handful of didn't get word until we had already driven out and checked into our hotel room. So we did the best we could do and made the most of it… the Cocktail & Banana Splits PJ Party went on!!!!

I had made up these little cards for everyone to have when they checked in at the front desk…

After lots of cancellation/snow storm drama and dinner, the evening started off with Banana Splits and Cocktails…

We had stuck the ice cream outside in the snow before we went to dinner so it would stay cold… only when we got BACK from dinner there was about another 8 inches of snow and the ice cream was BURIED… here's the sight out our window trying to uncover the ice cream!

After we loaded up on those, we played a game… have you ever played "SPOONS"? Well, we played that but with stamps instead of spoons and called it "STAMPS"!

I made a cute little jar to hold the stamps in, and covered the deck of cards to look pretty and match

The top winners got these chocolate candy bars, they were all done with the Kaleidoscope DSP, but there are a couple variations…

Then I had some door prizes, here's the first, a basket with lotions and such…

This water bottle reminded me SO much of the image from Friends 24-7, so I just had to get it and stamp a tag with that stamp set to coordinate!

And then in keeping with the ice cream theme, I picked up these little ice cream coasters and address book and made a coordinating tag with an upcoming stamp set from the Summer Mini Catalog!

So much fun despite the snow!!!

Happy Birthday to Mom!

Finally!! I can share my mom's Birthday gift with all of you!!! Her Birthday is the same as mine, January 17th, but our family Birthday party just kept getting pushed back and back, finally we got together yesterday to celebrate January & February Birthdays so she's received it and I can share it!

ALY'S HELPFUL HINTS:

This set is ALL about vintage stamping!! Shelli gave a Vintage Stamping Presentation and Leadership and I fell in love… ever since, I've been ALL over it! In fact, I'm going to be teaching a Vintage Stamping & Stencils Class as part of our Spring Retreat in April!
The thing I've been using most in my vintage stamping is the "Color Spritzer Tool" and a Chocolate Chip Marker. That's how I've gotten the splattered look you see here and there, see the flower pictured to the right for a sample of what I mean.
I've also been using the heck out of the Pretties Kit with Vintage Stamping! I just love pulling in some pearls and "bling". While the Pretties Kit has some fabulous Rhinestone Brads, I've actually been using the Self-Adhesive Rhinestones in the Egg Decorating Kit right now. I just love the ease of peeling and sticking them on!
Another great element to Vintage Stamping is creating some Shimmer Paint Mist by combining Rubbing Alcohol and Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint in a water spritzer and spritzing your cardstock or DSP with it.
